How To Sell Name Brand Apparel

Selling clothing from the top retailers is really not as hard as most people may think. The reality of it is that anyone can do this with very little technical knowledge and with an absolute minimum investment or even free in many cases. In this article I will try to give some basic information that will get anyone started. The process is not complex and once you try it, you will be amamzed at how simple this can be.

The first thing to do is to get a website up and running. You can do this free through paces like Weebly and Free Web Builders and several other free options. You can also use the free version of Word Press but I need to say be careful adding links to posts or they may look like spam and get you locked out of your account. They all offer very easy to use webbuilders and anyone can do this with no technical skills. I have chosen to buy hosting for about $50 per year and host my own Word Press site to avoid that issue.

The next thing to do is to find your products from the retailers to sell. There are many good options out there and they are all free to join. I use three at the moment because they represent most of the retailers i want ot use. The ones I use are Commission Junction, Share A Sale, and Link Synergy. I find these three have all the retailers I would ever need or even have time to promote. Look them up, sign up free and start applying to programs. Some will accept you and some will not. I have been turned down by a few because my site does not provide them enough visitors per day, and some don't give a reason at all. This is never a problem because there are countless retailers who will accept your application. The application process is also very simple and is usually a two click response on your part.

Once you get accepted into a couple programs you are on your way to making money. I have found it is very easy to sell from the top name brand retailers in the apparel line. I have been selling women's apparel, men's apparel, kids clothes, all to include top, tanks tees, shirts etc. Clothing is very easy and these retailers make it even easier by giving you links to their seasonal sales and specials.

The time it takes to do all of this is also pretty minimal. Yes there is a little initial time deciding how to set up your website and there is a little time registering with the affiliate programs, but after that it is a matter of replacing links and adding to what you already have set up. You don't need any 50 page websites to do this either. Sometimes a simple one or two page site is more than sufficient and very effective.
